This piece was inspired by my love for the "Venetian Carnival" in Italy.  I wanted to capture the feel of festivity and merriment in the streets of Venice. Both figures are cloth over a special armature, which they can be easily posed. They are costumed in imported silks and trim, accented with AB Swarovski crystals. Both their masks are handmade and decorated. The chandelier was handcrafted and draped in AB Swarovski crystals. The balcony is hand carved and the base is covered in Venetian mosaic tile, hand laid to depict the streets of Italy. Special features are their glass eyes.
